Semi-Pelagianism

Semi·Pe·la·gian·ism / 'se-mE-p&-'lA-j(E-)&-"ni-z&m / noun

The teaching of Pelagius’ half-brother, Semi-Pelagius. (Just kidding. It’s actually a half-witted version of good old Pelagianism, to which it inexorably slides.)   It was recast and popularized many centuries later by Arminius, and thus is now more commonly referred to as Arminianism.
